Currently, secondary vocational students were given at least twodifferent choices about their further development, whether direct employment orcontinue study. However, the ultimate aim of these ways is to cultivate the secondaryvocational students to be a valuable technical talents with practical attitude. Afterinterview and investigation on several garment enterprises which employingsecondary vocational students in Guangdong Province, the author finds that there isa universal phenomenon: among the employed secondary vocational students, nearlyall of them face a problem in varying degrees—difficulty in technical operation,especially reflecting in unable to react swiftly in an emergency. Along with thecontinual adjustment of economic system in China, all enterprises are devoting toenhance their technology, importing a broad range of skilled personnel. The talentscan inject new vitality, drive technical progress and create tremendous profits for anenterprise. So the urgent way for accelerating enterprise technology is enforcementof talent strategy. A technical talent is required by modern enterprises must possess:solid professional basis, good practical ability, rapid strain capacity, uniqueinnovation ability, strong teamwork spirit, etc. However, all of the above mentionedcome from rich technical operation and experience. While accumulation of experience mainly depends on long term exercise and practice in front-linemanufacture, namely, that is lasting, repeated, high intensity practical operation. Thepractical ability of technical talents directly determines an enterprise’s productionefficiency, operation cost, product quality, profit and loss, all of which is the lifelinefor an enterprise to survive and develop and cannot be ignored. Consequently, inorder to better enable secondary vocational graduate students to satisfy employmentrequirements of enterprises, guarantee employment rate, all secondary vocationalschools are putting great efforts to strengthen the training of practical ability ofstudents and ensure that they can meet the market requirement upon graduation.Additionally, the higher-vocational education entrance examination implemented inChina also puts the emphasis on inspect student’s practical ability. Success inresolving problem of the practical ability of students will not only improve technicallevels of secondary vocational graduate students to a large extent and enhanceteaching development in a healthy way. On the other hand, the enterprise will alsobenefit from introduce of technical talents with strong practical ability, the enterprisewill increasingly improve production rate, intensify product quality and improvecomprehensive competitive power. It is also the necessary requirement of thedevelopment of market economy.This article tries to find the core of teaching problem really influence on theweakness of practical ability of students. And through analysis and discussion onteaching method, teaching contents, teaching mode, characteristics of students andother aspects, the author tries to find out the fundamental cause of poor practicalability of secondary vocational students and provide reasonable advice. Basing oninvestigation, research and discussion on the above mentioned contents, the article is overall composed of the following four parts:(I) Background of the subject, researchsignificance, current situation of the subject, research target, research thought andresearch method;(II) Analysis on current situation of secondary vocational education.From meaning of secondary vocational education, policy orientation andimplementation of practical ability cultivation, finding the main reason resulting inweak practical ability of students and state the consequences;(III) Provide detailedrectification measures and scheme;(IV) Conclusion. The innovation points of thisarticle are these following contents: make full use of resources on internet, establishthe state of micro blog and micro message; improve and perfect teaching system,assessment mechanism, comment by teachers,students,and enterprises;lay stress onthe interaction between major construction and regional industrial development,ultimately attain the object that improve teaching standard of secondary vocationaleducation with scientific method.
