Study On The Strategy Of Improving The Effectiveness Of Moral Education In Senior High Schools In Panzhihua City

Moral education plays a significant part in promoting the all-round development and qualityeducation of senior students as well as pushing ahead with the new curriculum reform in senior highschools.Based on the above understanding, this study investigated the development situation of moraleducation in Panzhihua city high schools.According to my observation and thinking in my usual teaching and research activities of themoral education in senior high schools in Panzhihua city, I hold the view that the reasons for the lowmoral education effectiveness are mainly because of the following four reasons: moral educationconceptual hysteresis, inadequate activities, lack of evaluation supervision and moral atmosphere.The following strategies are proposed in view of the above problems:1. The three main moral education ideas of “comprehensive development”,“moral educationfirst” and “respecting the subject position of students” should be changed.2. Moral education should take the forms of activities as well as in groups in students’ daily life.3. Moral education evaluation system which combines the evaluations from administrativedepartments, schools, society and families as well as student assessment should be established.4. The government, schools, families, and society should work together to carry out moraleducation.
