Nowadays,the problem of moral education whether it is effective in our country’sschool arouses universal concern. With the social transformation,and the change ofdomestic and international environment, it gives new challenge and opportunity tomoral education of school. It also brings the problem which we can’t neglect duringthe process of mental and moral construction of teenagers.School is the main access tomoral education.However, it appears that there are new problems during the processof carrying out moral education.Senior high school is the final stage of fundamentaleducation. The moral education is especially important when students face hugepressure during the college entrance examinations. Therefore,raising the effectivenessof moral education in senior high school is the need of society development and basicrequirement of education.The essay aims to discuss the meaning and characteristic of moral educationeffectiveness about senior high school,on the basis of which,I investigated presentconditions and existent problems. Afterwards,analyzing the reasons why it appears theeffectiveness of moral education.According to the reasons, the practical and effectiveways to carry out moral education in senior high school are put forward from thelevels of macroscopic and microcosmic.The current work of moral education in senior high school has made greatachievements, however,compared with the development of society, parents’expectations,and hardworking educators,that’s not enough.As a whole,the level ofeffectiveness of moral education at school is low.There exist obvious problems,suchas: the problems of students’ moral recognition and action deficiency; Society,schooland parents pay no attention to the moral education because of the pressure of collegeentrance examination;Part of the content of moral education at school is so old and themethod is so simple that it is hard to put into practice;the work of moral education atschool exists only in the surface lacking stimulant system;So what’s the reasons whyso many problems appeared? Firstly,the influence of traditional education views;Secondly, much deficiency existing in the work of school moral education itself,suchas,setting high goals is far away from the truth of reality; the content can’t reflect theneed of modern social life and students’mental and physicaldevelopment.Thirdly,negative factors having bad influence on students in modernsociety environment. Finally, with the change of modern life,family surroundingsattaching much importance to the growth of students.If we want to improve the effectiveness of moral education in senior high school,we have no choice but to findeffective measures.In this essay there are some measures as follows:innovate theeducational system deeply;establish a network of moral education amongschool,society and family; the construction of teachers’team;strengthen the researchand experiment of the moral education theory;reform the content of moraleducation;improve the method of moral education;build the educational model ofcharacteristics;explore a good mechanism about moral education;build a assessablesystem based on the reality.
