The senior high school takes on heavy responsibilities to transport talent to universities and the society, the focus of school tends to stick to the students’ academic achievement thus ignore students’ moral education work, even if part of senior high school has carried on beneficial exploration on moral education, the effect of the implementation of moral education is not satisfactory. Therefore, it is essential to improve the effectiveness of moral education in senior high schools, problems of the effectiveness of moral education in senior high schools must be solved.The guidance of this study is related to the moral education policies of the party and the state, with research at home and abroad as background, research on the current situation of moral education of five senior high schools in Shenyang as a miniature and basis, and takes the way of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.First of all, it discusses the basic theory and related concept of the effectiveness of moral education in senior high school, and from the perspective of macro and micro, provides a preliminary probe into the effectiveness of school moral education standards. Secondly, analyzes moral education work of the current ordinary high school in Shenyang and the basic situation of high school student itself, existing problems and influencing factors. Finally, puts forward corresponding countermeasures by combining the research on the effectiveness of moral education problems of regular high school and the relevant theoretical research at home and abroad.In Shenyang senior high school, moral education occupies a certain proportion, schools have made corresponding different actions, but there is a certain gap between the actual condition and the expectation,senior high school also has its particularity and limitation. Existing problems: from the formal standards, inefficient moral education problem shows that: moral education is neglected in the practical teaching; the proportion of the content of moral education has large deviation; moral education effect is not obvious; moral activities carried out less frequently and lack of creativity, and the body of the activities participated less actively; the school moral education management have a certain plan and purpose, but the propaganda is not enough, and lack of democracy; although the evaluation method of the school is diversified, but the students do not agree the content; school network moral education carried out not good, and the community, parents and superiors units lack the benign interaction; ethics of teacher is in good condition, but does not play a clear cut example role etc.. Inefficient moral education shows poor acquisition, internalization and application problems in cognition, emotion, meaning, and behavior four aspects. Influence factors: school external mainly influenced by traditional concept, society, the college entrance examination system and family; school interior mainly influenced by contradiction between intellectual education and moral education, educators has biased education focus, comparison competition atmosphere between teachers and individual social experience, attitude-set and level of moral cognition development of senior high school students. Countermeasures of promoting the actual effect of ordinary high school moral education: follow the basic requirements of moral education, carry out the basic principles of moral education; update educational concept, stress on students initiative; deepening the reform of moral education system and improve the pertinence of moral education; optimize the external environment, enhance the consistency of moral education.
