In China, the senior high school education had stepped from Elite Educationstage into a universal stage, which means the primary task about developing highschool education, had been finished successfully. The main tasks of next stage will befocused on the development of quality education. According to the researches,Diversified Development will always be the final choice after high school educationstepped into the universal stage. This choice reflects the seeking for democracy andequality, while it can satisfy the requirements of the students’ self-development andthe needs of diversification of talents at the same time. The key of diversifieddevelopment for regular high school is the diversification of the Course System. It is agood way to satisfy the needs of students’ personality development through runningdiversified course system in high school, which is a specific way for school to startthe diversified education as well. In this kind of training mode, students must beguaranteed that they have a good control on the basic knowledge they should leant. Itrequires adding wide ranged, reasonable structured elective courses into the existedcourse system, which means the proportion of compulsory courses will be changed asthe amount of total class hour is fixed.The diversification of training mode in this article is focus on the diversificationof training mode in campus. Generally speaking, it can be simply understood asdifferent training mode for different talents and needs. For details, it executes specificenrollment policies and courses systems for specific group of students, sets specifictargets for specific person and uses specific ways to estimate and manage. All specificways can finally be concluded as a reproducible execute solution, which can finish thediversified education task for different student groups.In most developed countries, the diversification of training mode can beconcluded as three different modes, includes Major Selection Mode, ComprehensiveSelection Mode and Menu Selection Mode. The first one, Major Selection Mode,means student should choose their future development direction in high school. Forexample, students in French should choose a major, like Literature, Sciences,Economy and Society and so on, to continue their second year study in high school.The second mode named Comprehensive Selection Mode means there is no need tochoose a major or future direction. The school provides compulsory modules andmultiple optional modules instead, such as high school students in Germany; they willchoose their own compulsory courses and optional courses to make their specialschool timetables in the second year. The third one, which is called Menu SelectionMode, treats school as the menu maker and the students as customers. What the students should do is just to choose a course set which can make themselvessatisfactory from the menu list. This mode was used by UK, Japan and some othercountries.However, it is still difficult for high school to run diversified training mode inChina. There are five elements contributes to this kind of situation. Firstly, themission of high school education system is missing, which result in unbalancededucation tasks; secondly, low-quality school management team; thirdly, quality ofteacher team needs to be improved; forth, course systems fossilization; fifth, confusedstudents and depressive personality. Considering the five elements above,correspond solutions can be quickly concluded. At first, people should clear themission of high school education. Secondly, professional school management teamshould be organized. Thirdly, more invests should be invest on running schoolcondition. Fourthly, teacher team should improve the quality of the team and becomemore professional. Fifthly, the diversification of course system should be realized.And lastly, the instruction system for students should be specially built.Taishan Secondary School has been explores and practices on Diversification ofTraining Mode for a long period. It had built Students in Dance Training Mode,Students in Art Training Mode, Students in Broadcast Host&Model Training Mode,Students in Flight Attendants Training Mode, Students in Rugby Training Mode,Students in Athlete Training Mode, International Exchange Student Training Mode,and so on. It does some efficiently explorations on diversification of course resources.They take full advantages of the specialized courses’ marketization and the localcourse resources. The teachers of the school try to connect the high school courseswith the major courses in the college. They try to deep develop the textbook as well.But these are still not enough for a reproducible execute solution. No matter on theoryor in practice, it still has a long way to go. They should continue the theory study andupdate the education idea. The quality of its teacher team and school managementteam still need more improvements. School culture about diversification of trainingmode should be developed in a deeper way. The existed diversified training modeneeds more practice and suggestions to be perfected. Time and practice will proveeverything.
