With the development of economy and society, the advancement of popularization of education process, the private higher education especially private undergraduate education is more and more important in the education system in China, and it becomes a new force in the higher education in our country. In private colleges, the construction of teachers will largely influence the quality of teaching, that is to say, it will influence the quality of talents delivered to the society. So the research on the full-time teachers performance management became very important in privates universities. Although private undergraduate colleges and universities continuously explore full-time teachers performance management, there are many problems of full-time teachers performance management in privates universities for the development time is limited and lack of experience and so on such as confusion about performance management and performance appraisal,lack of awareness of the importance of performance management, lack of communication in the process of performance management,quotas of performance appraisal is not scientific, lack of feedback on scientific performance evaluation result, and lack of supervision and restraint mechanisms in the performance management process and so forth.In this paper, the private colleges need design full-time teacher performance management system themselves combining their own actual condition after the analysis of the full-time teachers’performance management in NU college---a private undergraduate college. And promotes the college development with the development and reform of education. Through the study of knowledge management theory and inductive method and case method etc,the author takes the correlative performance management theory as the basis combing with the actual situation of private colleges, analyzes the private colleges full-time teacher performance management status, problems and reasons, put key performance indicator and analytic hierarchy process as the guide, explore a set of performance management methods suitable for full-time teachers in private university。This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is introduction which mainly introduces the background of the topic, literature summary home and abroad, the main contents of research and the content system, the innovative points. The second chapter is related theory summary which mainly introduces performance appraisal, performance management, university teachers performance appraisal referenced main public theoretical basis, such as knowledge workers of Drucker, ERG theory, key performance indication and analytic hierarchy process. The third part is taking NU college for example, which analyzes the teacher performance appraisal situation and the reasons of private colleges. The forth puts forward proposal for reforming and perfecting the teacher performance management of private universities, actively exploring a set of scientific, reasonable and fair method for fits the teacher performance management of private universities.The fifth part gives the summery of this paper。...
