Professional development refers to staffs participating one career, using innovation of thought and theory as lead, get methods, developmental rules, general thought, general content, and general goal of this profession development and innovation. While professional development of teachers refers to the professional development of teachers self-awareness as a fundamental, in support of the context of outside professional development, continuously updates the concept of education, improve the professional knowledge structure, in order to improve their own quality and teaching skills to serve the educational process. Now professional development of domestic teachers is still at the beginning stage, but it is connected with the fundamental educational reformation of our nation, and it has a great potential of improvement and development.However, there are few researches about the professional development of junior high school teacher of ideological and political sciences, which leads to the lack of theoretical support and practical direction in this field. And this further leads to disruption of improvement of the teaching quality of this course. Ideological and political science is a course which uses ideological and political education as core to culture students’ ideological and political development. Exactly and scitifically defining the content of professional development of ideological and political teacher is the checkpoint of theoretical research and practical discovery, which is significant to improve professional development of ideological and political teacher. Strengthening research about professional development of ideological and political teacher not only benefits formation and development of recognization of professional development of ideological and political teacher, guidance of direction of professional development of ideological and political teacher, perfection of model of professional development of ideological and political teacher, but also benefits realization of cultural target of students.In this paper, the research framework contains four parts:the first part is introduction, mainly introduces the issue and significance of teacher professional development, domestic and foreign research and thinking and methods about this paper. The second part makes a scientific definition of the ideological and political connotations of the professional development of teachers, and summed up the ideological and political content of the professional development of teachers. The third part states the necessity of professional development of ideological and political teacher, and runs analysis of it. The fourth part generalizes three stragities on the bases of many statistics and references of relative papers, which are perfection of management of course, making the base of teaching of ideological and political teacher; formation of communication platform, making a harmonious atmosphere for ideological and political teacher; perfection of political system, providing guarantee of professional development of ideological and political teacher.In this paper, the innovation lies in breakthrough of the content of professional development of ideological and political teacher, analyzing problems of professional development of domestic ideological and political teacher and its reason, using paper research method, history research method, theory research method, directly or indirectly gathering information of professional development of domestic ideological and political teacher, understanding the existing problems of professional development of ideological and political teacher, actively combining reformation of modern courses, discovering effective ways of professional development of ideological and political teacher.
