In 2011, China’s Ministry of Education issued< based curriculum reform program (Trial)> document the arrival of the era of the new curriculum reform. With the promotion of the curriculum reform and the implementation of quality education proposed to enhance teachers’ professional sustainable development of this new subject. The new curriculum reform is specific to the ideological and political course.Study on Teachers’ professional development is a pursuit of lifelong learning, and continue to solve problems in education and occupation ideal and moral emotion maturity process of accumulation process of education and experience. High school politics teachers’ continuing professional development is the requirements of quality education reform and its development of Ideological and political course in senior middle school teachers is also a need for, is a senior high school thought political lesson teaching quality assurance. Ideological and political course in senior middle school teachers is main transmission subject of moral education, and the teaching education an important mission of the ideological and political course in senior middle school teachers must continue to take the path of professional development.In the domestic research on the professional development of teachers, most scholars study on Teachers’ professional development, mainly concentrated on the content and method of teacher development of exhibition industry. Ignore the importance and the significance of teachers’ professional development sustainable and systematically from the teachers’ professional development support and protection of external, and internal to the professional development of teachers leadership and management of research literature and reference materials also does not see more.This paper from two aspects of theory and practice of Ideological and political course in senior middle school teachers continuous professional development are discussed in this paper and is of great significance. Further enrich the understanding of teachers’ professional development, self-renewal of teachers, professional autonomy, promote and restrict factors were in-depth study, pay attention to the value of the knowledge and behavior of teachers, improve the quality of teaching. The proposed promote ideological and political course in senior middle school teacher professional sustainable development measures and schemes.
