The overall quality of teachers in vocational colleges is its core strength. Improve the overall quality of teachers is a systematic project, and teacher performance appraisal is one of the important aspects. However, vocational education after all these years of development, the teacher’s performance appraisal is a basic reference mode or even copy Undergraduate assessment mode, or is to retain its predecessor and follows the original secondary school performance evaluation model, performance appraisal systems or more or less have kept some problems, not completely against the characteristics of higher vocational education and vocational teachers, the role of performance appraisal can not be fully exploited.In this paper, on the basis of access to large amounts of data through the use of literature research, comparative analysis, case studies and other research methods, Jiangxi Vocational College of S conducted case studies and found that S institutions currently in performance assessment there are some problems and drawbacks, including:performance appraisal vague position, the lack of a clear purpose; lack of scientific evaluation indicators set not fully reflect the vocational characteristics; assessment methods still need to be improved; student Evaluation of Teaching module is not reasonable; performance appraisal feedback mechanism is not perfect; teachers in the performance management process of participation is not enough. Further analysis found that produce these drawbacks main reasons:lack of knowledge on the performance appraisal; performance management process, the lack of the necessary two-way communication; implementation of performance appraisal process, supervision and management control mechanisms are not in place; school organization is not concerned about the reasonableness of assessment; performance evaluation results has not been established channels for redress; sector Management leadership lack of management skills. Finally, to solve these problems, this aspect should proceed from the following:rebuilding a reasonable assessment process systems; establish scientific performance evaluation indicators; adopt a more scientific performance appraisal methods; establish an effective feedback mechanism examination results; improve the performance appraisal supporting the implementation of measures.
