In recent years, the pace of construction Beijing university men’s basketball team continues to accelerate, basketball talented men training work has made considerable development, continuously improve the overall level, but with the high level basketball players cultivation objectives determine the country still has a certain gap.In order to make the Beijing university men’s basketball talent level can be improved as soon as possible, and promote the rapid development of the basketball sports in Beijing City, and reduce the gap between the top teams. This question using the method of literature, expert interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics and other research methods, from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing University, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing Normal University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, eight high school basketball coaches and men’s basketball athlete as the object of study, analysis of present conditions of Beijing college men basketball talent, diagnosed basketball talents university men’s problem in Beijing city and explore the coping strategies of science, provides the beneficial reference for other colleges and universities in Beijing and even the whole country of basketball talent management and training, this is the main purpose of the study.Through the research, the conclusions of the study are as follows:(1) the main material sources of Beijing university men’s basketball talents is the middle school and sports, the expert examination enrollment mode, the lack of a unified standard in the process of material selection, autonomy is too strong.(2) the organization of Beijing basketball talents in Colleges and universities man management more perfect, but exhibited highly centralization; management of men’s basketball players with placement manner, the basic system has formed a relatively standardized, but many universities lack system perfect research system and logistics system.(3) Beijing university men’s basketball coaches all make clear training objectives, but the understanding of the guiding ideology of training is not clear, understanding of the initial state of training are fuzzy, incomplete training plan, training system is not strong; the training schedule is too much, cause conflict between study and training; training the content of psychological quality training and sport intelligence training content is less, the level of scientific training is not high.(4) Although most colleges and universities have participated in the CUBA League, but the game a long time, the game is less obviously not conducive to team training, enthusiasm is not conducive to the mobilization of the players.(5)there are four aspects the following main problems in the cultivation of Beijing university men’s basketball talent, one is the selection standard is too low, the lack of reserve forces; two is the training system is not perfect, the obvious contradiction between learning and training; three is the training system is not perfect, scientific degree is low; four is the competition mechanism is not reasonable, lack of funds guarantee..
