Krishnamurti was a famous philosopher and educator in the20th century,devoted his life to the cause of human’s happiness and freedom, and he rushed aboutspeech and writing all his life, has a great influence in the western ideological circle.He has both the east and the west education background, has experienced two worldwars and the industrial revolution, puts forward profound criticism on education andempty the insight of wisdom. He thought the whole meaning of education is to let aperson know the meaning of life, to complete the social transformation throughself-understanding, to dissolve the crisis in today’s world, and to build the mind andthe external world is a world without conflict. Krishnamurti’s understanding of thecorrect education is based on the criticism of traditional education, the education ideaof respect for the whole person, naturally and the natural deep sympathy andunderstanding of all things, to advocate quality education in our country at presentand university courses in general have a reference.There are five parts in my paper.The first chapter was formed the background of Krishnamurti EducationalThought. The section from Krishnamurti quite legendary and religious lifeexperiences to explore his life tireless speeches and writings, the originator ofeducational thought contemplation whole and entire human life, and he left us a richthe Enlightenment.The second chapter of the text introduced Krishnamurti criticism of traditionaleducation. The part from traditional education overemphasize knowledge, intelligenceand discipline, rather than focusing on comparing the integrity and respect for humansocial systems of traditional education fragmented full meaning of life and the declineof traditional education condone the three aspects of traditional education to critic.The third chapter of the text is the view of Krishnamurti On the significance androle of education, includes three sections: the significance of education is to helppeople understand and realize himself, the role of education is to create new values,and the significance of education in real life. The fourth chapter of the text is Krishnamurti’view on the content and methodsof education, including the significance and limitations of educational content andmethods what he advocated.The fifth chapter of the text is Krishnamurti’view on small school’s building,including his ideas on students and teachers, and the necessity and scale of smallschool.This paper aims to systematically discussed Krishnamurti’s educational thought,study its significance from each era of ideological education background and socialenvironment by step education about the historical changes in the various educationaltrends come and go and sometimes lost and discussed endlessly elements-"people",for today’s education reform offers a new way of thinking.
