Wu Jia-shu is a well-known secondary school physics grade teacher, who made outstanding achievements in the field of physics experiment teaching. He has an important influence in Zhejiang Province and even the whole country. Today, there is no systematic study of his achievements in physics experiment teaching. A comprehensive study is made in this article about the belief pursuit, basic understanding and optimization methods of Wu’s physics experiment teaching. A tentative thinking is made also. The author hopes this article can attract the majority of secondary school physics teachers and researchers to attach importance to the study and research into the valuable experience of the frontline physics teachers, which represented by Wu, to inherit its essence and make innovations.Physics has properties of seeking truth, the pursuit of the good things and perfection. Wu fully embodies this belief and pursuit in the teaching of physics experiment. Under the two principles which are to do experiments really and to do true experiments, he represented the ultimate pursuit of "truth". It fully demonstrated his scientific pursuit of physics experiment teaching. Two aspects which are from the base of knowledge return to students, and from academic form into education morphology, they interpret the "good" belief of him for physics teaching. The pursuit of the perfection reflects the artistry physics crafted teaching of him. The returning of the original classroom, and the repeated occurrence of the process mainly reflect on his physical artistry of teaching.Wu interpreted the basic understanding of the physics experiment teaching from physical education should be based on experiments and strengthen the role of experiments in physics teaching.The former contains two aspects of meaning, which the experiment is the basis of the physics, and the experiment is the basis of studying physics. He believed that experiments have played a basic role, whether for natural science research, or for the physical discipline features. Physics teachers must strengthen the experimental awareness. Physics experiments can teach students the hands-on skills, allows students to comprehend, grasps some important ideas and methods of physics experiments, but also allow students to become infected and nurtured in the level of attitude. So, to strengthen the function of the physical experiment, not just do with hands, but also think with mind and emotion.During the current physics experiment teaching, many poor conditions exist, Wu proposed to optimize the physical experimental teaching methods that implement the method of to do experiments, and highlight the method of to be perfect. The method of to do, not only requires teachers to really do experiments and do more experiments, but also emphasizes the art of experimental. We should understand the word "excellence" from the aspects of the design, operation and analysis of the experimental teaching. On the other way, it is necessary to highlight the experimental principle, penetrate thinking; expand operations content in experiment teaching, rich physical appearance; the observation and understand the physical essence keep pace.From the three aspects of the further understanding of the importance of physical experimental teaching, to expand the teaching of physics experiments based on the students’ mental, to strengthen the teaching of physics experiments teaching effectiveness and research physics experiments innovation, this study launches a further reflection of Wu’s physics experiment teaching.First, under the framework of the three-dimensional targets and the teaching of physics experiments, this study analyses the projected point in various dimensions carefully. From the point of "knowledge and skills","Process and Method","emotion, attitude and values", it discusses how to enhance further understanding of the importance of physical experiment teaching.Second, according to the theory of motivation, this article explores methods, based on psychology, on how to strengthen the teaching of physics experiments in three facets. They are to show the purpose of the experiment, trigger participatory motivation; to demonstrate the phenomenon of the process, and to stimulate immediate motivation; to train ideas, methods, and induce the main motivation.Third, how to strengthen the effectiveness of secondary school physics experiment teaching is a worthwhile proposition. In three dimensions, the part details ideas to strengthen the effectiveness of the teaching physics experiments from the "emphasize the experimental variant teaching","to strengthen the experimental inquiry process" and "pay attention to experimental teaching evaluation".
