Countries in the world will train and improve the scientific literacy of students into the overall goal of the science curriculum. In the current curriculum reform of china,To improve students’ scientific literacy as a subject and center of gravity.Junior high school physics textbook as an important part of the physics course, living in an irreplaceable important position.It is also an important carrier of the teachers and students in the implementation of teaching, learning activities.Students directly get the knowledge, skills and methods through physics textbooks and its related content. Science literacy goals in the presentation of the materials directly affect the students’ understanding of the knowledge and grasp the situation. Systematic analysis of the specific presentation of scientific literacy in the physics textbook is a practical problem to be solved.This study closely around the core of scientific literacy word, referring to Europe and the United States and China on the interpretation of the connotation of scientific literacy and elements, based on our analysis of the physics curriculum standards for science literacy, Suke version of the junior high school physics textbook (hereinafter referred to as Suke version) for text analysis, literature, content analysis method to carry out the work of the paper.Literature method is mainly used in the course of development and analysis of scientific literacy materials analysis of the status quo;The analysis method is mainly used in the analysis based on the six elements of the scientific literacy of Suke version textbook.The study is divided into four parts:Part Ⅰ:Introduction.First of all, to clarify the source of this study topics in the introduction, including international and domestic science education curriculum reform trends and requirements, discusses the significance of this study; Summary of scientific literacy and teaching materials relevant studies; to elaborate research purposes as well as the research methodand ideas.Part Ⅱ:analysis of the theoretical basis of basic scientific literacy materials. This part describes the theoretical basis of this study.Through the analysis of the connotation of scientific literacy and structural elements, we get the six elements of scientific literacy:scientific knowledge, scientific inquiry, scientific method, scientific spirit, scientific attitude and STS.Science literacy goals of "full-time compulsory education the physics curriculum standards" build "based on scientific literacy teaching analytical framework, and scientific literacy six elements do a detailed explanation.Part III:Based on the scientific literacy of junior high school physics textbook.This chapter is the analysis part of the thesis.Based on the interpretation of the six elements of scientific literacy, I use a text analysis from teaching architecture, presentation materials, the content of textbooks in three aspects, a detailed analysis of Jiangsu Science and materials research.Part Ⅳ:Analysis and summary.This chapter Analysis of the material depended onf the six elements of the scientific and pointed out that the materials strengths and weaknesses of scientific knowledge, scientific method and scientific inquiry, scientific attitude and scientific spirit, STS.Finally, the author illustrated the problems of this study, some visions and perspectives of future research.
