The inferior students in junior high school because of its objective existence and influence far more than the superior students has being taken seriously by more and more educators, and is a sensitive and unavoidable topic in today’s education. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the cause of inferior students, more clear definition method and the countermeasure of transformation, so as to provide some feasible references for other teachers.This paper takes education, psychology, new curriculum, and philosophical views as its theoretical foundation and is based on research at home and abroad, the influencing factor of inferior students are divided into social factors, family factors, school factors and their own factors objectively and impartially.In Countermeasures section, we are supported by latest teaching philosophy and based on my experience of transforming inferior students, research the methods of countermeasure. The article structure is as follows.Chapter1outlines the goal of this study, research significance, research ideas and methods, and research status.Chapter2focuses on the basic theoretical of the cause analysis, definition and countermeasures research.Chapter3research the causes of influencing the inferior students from the four factors affect.Chapter4uses the methods of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on the definition of inferior students, and make use of the second model to define the inferior students precisely.Chapter5gives the strategy for transition of inferior students from the four aspects. In the way of countermeasures research., we focus on the internal aspects, respect for individuality, individualized; decrease the difficulty, hierarchical teaching; dynamic standards, for inferior students, we do not abandon and give up.Chapter6summarizes and looks far ahead into the conversion of inferior students. We expect the smaller class teaching can be popularized in the near future.Chapter7lists two cases of inferior students, making this paper both theoretical and practical.
