Where there is life, there is education. The new curriculum reformscall for life-oriented Politics teaching, which allows our Politics teachingto be back to life, be back to the society and be back to the real world.Life-oriented Politics teaching is not only the teaching philosophyadvocated in the new curriculum reforms, but also a way of teaching,which changes the traditional teaching mode.If life-oriented Politics teaching is applied in senior high schoolPolitics teaching, it will allows students to experience lives in study andimprove themselves in lives, thus allowing students to apply what theyhave learnt in class to their real lives and use their knowledge to solve theproblems they met in lives. In this way, we can elevate students’cultivation and qualities, broaden their horizons and strengthen theirresponsibilities. The basic mode of life-oriented Politics teaching can beconcluded as a circle,“real life (lead-in)—classroom teaching(analysis)—real life (return)”, which emphasizes the “from life toteaching” and “from teaching to life again” teaching processes. Based onthe related teaching theories from home and abroad, this paper observeslife-oriented Politics teaching practice, analyzes the problems existed insenior high school Politics teaching and discuss the effective strategies topromote life-oriented Politics teaching.This research is divided into four parts:The first part: The Introduction. This part states the researchbackground and the related researches from home and abroad, and makesa clear definition of life-oriented Politics teaching.The second part: The necessary of carrying out life-oriented Politicsteaching at present times and the basic requirements of life-oriented Politics teachingin the new curriculum reforms. The third part: The problems of carrying out life-oriented Politicsteaching in the daily classroom teaching with teaching practice analysis.The fourth part: The effective strategies to promote life-orientedPolitics teaching with teaching practice analysis.
