With the deep development of the basic education curriculum reform, at the education teaching frontline, there are a large number of successful representatives of the reform, such as The Second middle school of Shandong Changle, Liaocheng DuLangkou middle school and Nanjing Donglu middle school. However, due to the stylization burden of the traditional concept and the slow change of the education macro climate, a lot of problems are gradually exposed when their classroom teaching reform is being implemented. The mode of learning plan-guided teaching, as a try which reforms to the concept of new curriculum reform, is also with no exception.In this paper, the object is a star high school of Yancheng city, Jiangsu province. In recent years, the education reform of this school is reinforced continuously. Considering the actual situation of the school, learning form the successful reform examples of other schools, using the mode of learning plan-guided teaching creatively, adhering to the long-term development of the students, and cultivating the autonomic learning, active inquiry and innovation ability of the students, the characteristic mode of learning plan-guided teaching has been formed. The author participated in the teaching reform, and always paid much attention to the gain and loss of the reform. The teaching practice of these years has proved that the implementation of the mode of learning plan-guided teaching not only conforms to the requirements of the curriculum reform and the needs of the students’ growth, but also promotes teachers’ professional development. But, with the progress of the teaching reform, a lot of problems surfaced. Aiming at the existing problems for the application of the mode of learning plan-guided teaching to this school, I did date collection, analysis and research, and find out the common reasons for these problems. Besides, regarding these problems, I put forward optimizing strategy and try to perfect the teaching mode. I do hope that I can provide some reference for my colleagues and the front-line teachers from other schools.There are three parts of this paper. In the first part, I discuss the basic connotation and denotation of the mode of learning plan-guided teaching from the following four aspects:the background, concept definition, theoretical basis and rational consideration. In the second part, I select the school I worked for as the research object, and collect data through the interviews and observation method; Based on the main line of the process of learning case preparation, the preparation of the mode of learning plan-guided teaching, and the teaching process, I try to find out the existing problems, and analyze them and find out the deep reasons behind the problems by then. In the third part, regarding the problems and the reasons I get from the analysis, and I try to put forward some optimizing strategies. This paper strives to provide valuable reference for teaching and scientific research of the vast number of front-line teachers from both of the theory and practice levels, and as well, do beneficial exploration for the new curriculum reform entering into the deep water area.
