The development of times appeals to us to change old teaching methodsand ideas. Nowadays new history course reform is carrying out in normal high school.This course reform is to adapt the development of society and demand of quality-orientededucation. New course request us to change study ways, emphasize exploring study, ownstudy and cooperation study, which emphasizes students’ integrated development.Concerning life and reality; seizing future make students have right world view,philosophy, and value and cultivate students’ perfect personality. Traditional educationregards knowledge, classroom and teachers as core. With the background of new coursereform, tradition education suffers great challenge and pressure. The development ofcountry needs talents; however, excellent talents rely on good education. Striving tostructure study ways which adapt new course idea and fit the development of society. Inthe process of high school history teaching, developing own study, creating good studyatmosphere, exploring actively structure strategy of own study classroom have no time todelay.This passage is divided six parts. The first part is introduction, which mainlyintroduces research aim and significance, overseas and domestic research status andmethods. This passage is divided six parts. The second part introduces concept and feature of own study and the necessityof own study in high school history classroom. The third part mainly discusses itstheoretical basis, including teaching basis, mentality basis and recent developing areatheory. The fourth part mainly summarizes factors of affecting high school studentsstudying history, which analyzes it from internal and external. The fifth part is importantin this passage, which introduces history teachers’ role change of own study in highschool classroom with the direction of new course and structure way of own study and put forward some advices and opinion for structuring history classroom in high school fromteachers’ role change. Then, discuss structure strategy of own study in high school historyclassroom. The last part mainly states existed problems and self-examination in highschool history classroom. In short, own study doesn’t mean students study alone, whichcan be developed with teachers’ direction. Teachers’ teaching quality decides developingextent of students’ own study. Structuring efficient own study in history classroom andmaking students form good habits of own study are a long process and the result ofteachers and students.
