Abstract:Teaching Chinese is becoming more and more popular with the increase global warming of Chinese in the world range, and various forms of Chinese teaching flourishes relatively. In many countries, the government has designed Chinese into the Course Plans of primary and secondary schools. As a friendly neighbor country China with a long history, Thai government and the royal family also attaches great importance to the Chinese language teaching. Early in2005, Thai Education Department has made the popularity of Chinese teaching in the primary and secondary schools in5years as one of the top objectives in the newly formulated development plan of Chinese teaching. Accompanied with the rapid development of Chinese teaching, more and more researchers begin to focus on the related areas. Based on the teaching practice in Thai secondary school, this thesis come up with some common obstructions in teaching and also provide some considerable recommendations.From the microscopic point, the specific school and students of this school are chosen as the researching objects. Considering all kinds of factors which could influence the teaching and learning progress, many aspects are explored and discussed about the teaching class of Chinese. Also, there are summaries and recommendations.Five parts are included in the thesis as follows:the preface, the status quo of Chinese teaching, the common obstructions, the related recommendations, and the summarizing part.
