Experiments about the basic education reform of Regular Senior Highhave been put into practice for more than9years in more and more places such asGuangdong, Hainan, Shandong and Ningxia. It is nearly3years since the reformbegan in all-sided implementation in Sichuan Province. In the past three years, thehistory experts and frontline teachers from the universities and senior high schools inSichuan Province, together with the researchers from other regions of the province,have been doing a lot in exploring, communicating, practicing, and summarizing. Andthe teachers are adapting themselves to the reform while they should think more aboutthe problems in teaching and learning. The writer combines the cases of education andteaching from the frontline teachers, on the basis of “the new curriculum standard.”takes Sun Yat-sen and Xinhai Revolution (People’s edition) for example, and doessome research into integrating the textbooks as well as teaching practice, for thereference of teachers and students, aiming to improve both teaching and learningeffect, and reach the goals set by the New Curriculum Standard.This article is divided into five parts to discuss the integration of the newcurriculum.I. Prodromes. The background, necessity, significance, current situation, andinnovations of the research into the history books,.II. the Connotation and the principles of integrating the books.III. The comparison and integration about the requirements of the newcurriculum standard and the contents of the history books.IV. Teaching designs, teaching practice and teachers’ reflection based on theintegration of “the regular senior high school history curriculum standard”, SunYat-sen and Xinhai Revolution of the textbooks(People’s edition) students’practical conditions.V. Conclusion.
