Teaching material is the carrier of curriculum,curriculum reform will eventually fall on the body of textbook reform.Under the background of the new curriculum reform,the integration of teaching material content is not only based on realistic considerations,but also an inevitable choice to achieve the goal of literacy.Based on this,this paper takes the integration of teaching material content as the research topic,and takes the unified edition of senior high school history textbook as an example,carries on a series of research on the integration of senior high school history textbook content,in order to provide theoretical understanding and practical guidance for front-line teachers to use teaching materials scientifically.The paper consists of five parts,summarized as follows:From the call of the new curriculum reform,the requirement of achieving the core accomplishment goal and the practical demands of the first-line teachers,the first part expounds the reason and significance of this research,combs the literature on the relevant research results used in teaching materials,clarifies the research problems and methods,defines and clarifies the three important concepts ——“teaching material”,“integration” and “teaching material content integration”,and seeks theoretical support from psychology and pedagogy.The second part discusses the necessity of integrating the contents of senior high school history textbooks —— the outline of Chinese and foreign history,from three aspects: the requirements of curriculum standard,the achievement of accomplishment goal and the response to the change of teaching materials.The third part is the present situation investigation and the investigation result analysis of the teaching material content integration.This study takes three history teachers from a middle school in Shaoguan City,Guangdong Province as the research object,through the follow-up investigation of three history teachers for three months,we understand the teachers' views on the unified edition of senior high school history textbooks and the present situation of integrating the contents of the textbooks.The results show that history teachers in a middle school in Shaoguan,Guangdong Province still have the problems of insufficient theoretical research,unclear purposeof integration and single method of integration in integrating teaching materials.The fourth and fifth parts make clear that the basic principles of teaching material content integration are scientific principle,subjectivity principle and moderation principle.The fifth part of the thesis from the concept and practice two levels,put forward the teaching material content integration strategy.The conclusion part summarizes the basic points of this study,points out the shortcomings of the paper and clarifies the direction of improvement.
