On The Moral Education Thoughts And Its Contemporary Enlightenment Of New World Training

The ideological system of new idealist philosophy originated by Fung Yu-Lan was significant to our national thought development, even the world’s. Though the New World Training hasn’t been highly evaluated by Mr Fung Yu-Lan, but it contains a lot of moral education thoughts, which teach us how to be a human being and how to study. Today, we re-examine the moral education thoughts of the New World Training. On the one hand, we can understand the life method advocated by Mr Fung Yu-Lan during the Anti-Japanese Aggression War. On the other hand, we can seek the way out of the current moral education through these thoughts, which is also the purpose of writing this thesis.The thesis mainly includes five parts and emphasizes the contents of moral education contained in the New World Training. On the basis of analyzing Fung Yu-Lan’s original works, the author elaborate the points with her own awareness and understanding. Next, the author describes the principles of moral education reflected in the New World Training. Based on the knowledge of the contents and principles of moral education, the author illuminates the moral education methods of the New World Training from the two aspects of self-education and social education. Finally, we draw lessons from the moral education thoughts of the New World Training and link the current moral dilemma. The author thinks that we should reinforce publicity and education of excellent Traditional Chinese Culture to enhance the personal moral accomplishment. At the same time, we also shuold make good use of society, schools, families and all kinds of power to strengthen the education and guidance. In addition, adopting the correct moral method is also indispensable for improving the effectiveness of moral education.With the development of our society, the value of moral education of the New World Training has been paid more and more attention. It is really of a immeasurable realistic significance to the current moral construction that excavating the moral education thoughts of it to guide the current moral education work.
