With the development of computer and network, information technology has penetrated into every field of social life, including education field. Information technology is changing the form of education and learning methods, and has a great influence on the traditional education idea and teaching mode.Information technology education in China has made great progress under the extreme attention of the Department of education and society. A large number of capital investment has perfected the construction of facilities of information education foundation. The following personnel training and policy support have made the information technology play a big role in school education system. However, according to the practice investigation and literature the author found the perfect construction of hardware and software as foundation of school is not innovatory as expected. Many scholars began to pay attention to the effect of the application of information technology in school education systems. Their purpose is to explore the effective strategies of the application of information technology in school education system. Because of many involved factors, only a few of research conclusions are persuasive. Ecology of education is to use the rule of education of ecology theory, to examine the education problem in ecology perspective, and to provide a new perspective for solving the problems of education.This study first reviewed the education ecology theory, combined with the current middle school information technology application situation to analyze the existing problems of the application of information technology in view of ecology. Then, the researcher selected the key school Haicheng Senior High School which is well equipped with the relatively perfect software and hardware facilities to do the interview, questionnaire survey, on-the-spot investigation. At the same time, the researcher does the research on the teachers and students about the school’s interpersonal relationship, information technology, technical concept and level, ecological environment and other possible impacts of information technology. And the researcher analyzes the applied factors in middle school in view of ecology education and ecology theory in order to explore the effective strategies.This study suggests that establishing the direction of public opinion by strengthening the policy and breaking the system constraints before setting up flexible organization structure can improve the information technology in the middle school application environment; It also suggests that increasing capital investment to guarantee the construction of hardware resources and positioning function of the importance of information technology can strengthen the construction of resources and information technology; The last but not least, it suggests that constructing the interpersonal network of resources can improve the information literacy of teachers. In this way, it will be likely that the effective application of information technology in high school will come true.
