"Problem based instruction” makes students always conscious initiative, fully embodiesthe thought of subjectivity, the autonomous learning fall."The using of problem basedlearning" helps to improve the innovation ability of students, enrich the theory of curriculumand teaching, is conducive to the promotion of teacher specialization. At present the problemteaching method has the following several researches:(1) Research in domestic PBI has been extended from the medical education to other areas ofeducation.(2) The application of PBI in medical education is more mature and used for the study ofintegrated curriculum and teaching reform in primary and middle schools are not fully mature,more practical application of theory.(3) Research in the field of education, the theoretical and applied research in the moderneducational technology environment PBI is the main focus of the PBI research now.However, the current for the PBI study, people do not have the theoretical research andapplication of appropriate combination. This is where the defect problem teaching methodresearch.The author uses the method of the experimental class and the control class in contrast,research English required4and5two textbooks as teaching content, for a period of nearly sixmonths of the experiment. The controlled class the traditional teaching mode, while theexperimental class adopted question teaching mode: students in the English readingcomprehension in the learning process, first perceived situation, put forward the question;then analyzed the problems, the implementation of inquiry; finally solve the problem,meaning construction. During the experiment, using interview, questionnaire and othermethods to collect experimental data, ensure its effectiveness. Analysis the data after theexperiment.The experimental results show that it has greatly improved the students’ Englishachievements. At the same time, the author found the problem teaching model has developedtheir awareness of the problem in learning English and make the students master the suitablelearning strategies.
