The Study Of Community Support For Urban Floating Population

The emergence of the urban floating population is not only the inevitable phenomena in the progress of China’s industrialization and urbanization, but also the inevitable product of the simultaneous transformation of social structure and economic structure. Since the reform and opening up, with the loosening of the household registration system, more and more rural labor force began to pour into the city, and gradually formed a large floating population at present. Floating population more or less will be assimilated by cultural patterns of urban city, which is completely different from rural communities. But under the urban-rural dual social structure, due to a series of institutional and non-institutional factors, the floating people is difficult to equality and smoothly integrate into urban society. As the basic constituent units of society and the convert field of formal social and informal social system, to some extent, the floating population integrated into the urban community is equivalent to integrated into the urban society. According to this view, I believe the key to solve the problem of adaptation and integration of the floating population in urban community is to build a support network of floating population based on community. Community support is a multidimensional conception covering community management community service、community involvement community succor. Therefore, adding the floating population into the urban community management, building a support system of floating population of management service and succor based on urban community is becoming our focus and purpose.The overall structure of this paper is divided into four parts, the first part is the introduction which states the research background、research review、research significance、and research methods.Part Ⅱ includes the second and the third chapters. the second chapter focuses on the current China’s urban floating population’s basic needs in daily life. The third chapter focuses on the feasibility of community-based social support, not only analyzes the subject effectiveness of the community as floating population support, but also attempts to depict the basic concept of social support systems form the body of support, means of support, the basic ideas of support and many other aspects.Part III containing forth chapter, selects the typical floating population community as a case study, deeply analyze the implementation of the community in the community management, community service, community assistance and other aspects of the floating population, in order to explore the real operability of community-based social support for the floating population. Meanwhile, According to the problems of the actual operation of community-based social support for the floating people, puts forward the optimal path to solve the problems.Part Ⅳ sets forth the conclusions of this study and supplementary state two major premises of the operation of community-based social support for floating population-regulate the relationship of stakeholders and strengthen the control of the running costs.
