The Application Of Social Work In Promoting The Participation Of Floating Population In Community Governance

The floating population is an important subject in the community.The opinions on strengthening and improving urban and rural community governance issued by the CPC central committee and the state council mention to enrich the community life of the floating population and expand the channels for the orderly participation of the floating population in community governance.In recent years,the floating population has been changing in terms of age structure,cultural level and service demand.The floating population is not only the recipient of community services,but also an important participant in community affairs and a potential contributor to community governance.The floating population is an important force that cannot be ignored in community governance.While paying attention to the needs of the floating population,we should pay more attention to the mining of the advantages of the floating population,and through the application of professional methods of social work,these advantages into the power of community governance,through the intervention of social work,improve the level of the floating population to participate in community governance.Based on the literature and theories of floating population,community governance and social work,this paper explores the application of social work in promoting floating population to participate in community governance.Taking M community in shenzhen city as an example,the basic situation of floating population in participating in community governance was mastered by using the method of participant observation,questionnaire survey and non-structured interview,and the barrier factors affecting their participation in community governance were analyzed,and the advantageous resources were explored.In terms of service demand assessment,this paper takes the environmental issues that shenzhen attaches great importance to as the entry point to assess the needs of social work intervention.On this basis,it firstly designs and carries out parent-child environmental protection group activities of floating population.The study found that the overall situation of the floating population participating in community governance is not good,but the participation rate of children is relatively high.With this advantage,the service first planned the parent-child group to effectively promote the participation of adults in the family through the participation of the floating children,with the goal of enhancing the environmental awareness and ability of the floating population.Secondly,through the influence and driving role of the members of this sub-group,the governance and improvement of environmental problems in the community are promoted,and a good atmosphere of "everyone is responsible for protecting the environment" is formed in the whole community.At the same time,in the community activities,the integration of floating population and registered population is promoted,which lays a foundation for better promoting floating population to participate in community governance.Finally,the whole service process and effectiveness of the evaluation and reflection,and put forward Suggestions.
