21st century is an age of knowledge economy, cultivating innovative talentsis the core mission of universities. It is also an age of method. As the knowledgeupdates speed gradually speeding up, the knowledge growth accumulates intogeometric progression, only relying on the traditional teaching and learningmethod or remembering the old knowledge, we cann’t keep up with the pace ofthe age.Mind map is a tool of thinking, which was created in the1960’s by Britishresearcher Tony buzan.It was created to fully mine the potential of the humanbrain, make the thinking process visual, using factors such as images, lines, text,color to arouse the creativity of the brain. As an effective graphic tools, the mindmap can effectively promote learners to produce the inspiration and form thedivergent thinking. And then cultivate and develop the creative thinking andlearning ability, at the same time, guide learners of learning how to learn andinnovate.This thesis just combines mind map with innovative talent training, by theanalysis of the mind map and the current situation of innovative talentscultivation in our country. Deeply profile the characteristics of creative talents,combine with the relevant theory involved in the theory like brain science,learning theory, teaching theory and psychology theory, apply the mind map tothe teaching practice and study, in order to get a possible innovative talentstraining project which can effectively cultivates students creative thinking andlearning ability and apply it to practice.The study uses document research method, comparative method, surveymethod and case method, based on the interpretating the characteristics thatcreative talents need to develop, the fifth chapter was mainly divided into twoaspects, one part is cultivating students’ innovative thinking, the other is learning ability.Then designing the scheme respectively, and through the feasibilityanalysis and case analysis, this research proves the feasibility of this methodfrom the theory and practice aspects respectively.
