"Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020)" clearly states the need to "accelerate the development of rural-oriented vocational education". Background of building a harmonious society, the construction of new countryside is an important part of one, and farmers are the main force of the new rural construction, existing farmers and rural surplus labor force training new farmers in rural vocational education mission. Academic studies have focused on the transfer of rural labor force training, focusing on how to make the "migrant workers" groups more effectively adapt to the process of urbanization. However, train services in the construction of a new socialist countryside, rooted in the rural literate, well versed in technology, will operate the new farmers is a necessary means to achieve sustainable rural development. Tendency to understand the urbanization of rural vocational education development status, help to reverse this tendency to build value concept to adapt to the reality in rural areas, to meet the need of farmers and vocational education system in rural areas.In this paper, the method of application literature and comparative studies, by analyzing the status of China’s current rural vocational education development urbanization tendencies, as well as with the developed countries rural vocational education and training in comparison to explore new measures to promote the development of rural vocational education in China.This article first introduces our country rural occupation education and training in different historical periods and the present situation of rural occupation education, including the target location, our country rural occupation education object, existing state, majors and teachers. Analysis of the problems in training system of rural occupation education:due to the historical influence and practical reasons, the rural society "from the farmers" phenomenon is serious; rural occupation education does not receive top-down guidance, act of one’s own free will, no complementary advantages, the three level education resources cannot be through, three level vocational education system needs to be a shortage of teachers; education mode is backward,; curriculum deviation, unknown location.Secondly, discusses the reasons of city rural occupation education oriented, including the following four aspects:the historical influence, persistent; institutional constraints, lack of direction; economic integration,human flow; insufficient investment, teacher limited.Finally, draw in rural occupation education is desirable in developed countries, and puts forward some suggestions on the status of city rural occupation education tendency. These suggestions mainly from the policy aspect to discuss, including explicit government functions and policy guidance; the unique regional characteristics of three level vocational education system established; agriculture related courses; construction of "double type" team; puts forward the corresponding suggestions for the farmers free entrepreneurship training system, which echoes with the existing our country occupation education present problems, to solve the problem.
