With the continuous improvement of China’s economic level, the pursuit ofpeople for health more urgent, awareness of the importance of physical educationteaching has profound, reaffirmed the importance of physical education, the ministryof education requirements strengthen conscientiously the work of physical educationand use a variety of sports teaching method, improve the teaching quality of physicaleducation, modern education cause rapid development, more and more teachingmethods has been founded, present teaching method is varied, different disciplineshave different teaching characteristic, how to establish a discipline of the optimalteaching method is an urgent problem in the modern teaching researchers. Situationalteaching method is a kind of modern teaching methods, it is founded by superteachers Li Jilin, requirements in the specific context exert the principal role ofstudents, fully expand thinking, thinking and learning new things, to speed up theknowledge of new things, to achieve good teaching effect. Situational teachingmethod is used to more academic classes, such as English, history, biology, classroomteaching, rarely used in physical education class teaching, this paper will set out tostudy applying the situational teaching method in college physical educationprofessional basketball special course.Situational teaching method can optimize the sports teaching:(1) the theoreticalbasis of the emotional and cognitive interaction; Situation teaching requirementscreate certain teaching situation, make the students to study in this kind of situationcan be pleasant, relaxed and happy learning atmosphere can definitely enhance theeffect of classroom teaching.(2) understanding of intuitive principle; Situationteaching set certain situations, to learn the contents of the intuitive show in front ofstudents, promote students’ thinking extension, to speed up the students to learn new things.(3) the science of thinking similar principle: similarity principle reflects theidentity of things, and learn something one can learn other things similar to replace,founded by other similar things in situational teaching stimulate students’ interest inlearning.(4) conscious and unconscious mind: situational teaching, fully mobilizestudents unconscious these function, induce these unconscious functions improve thestudents’ cognitive ability, improve the learning effect.(5) the unity of intelligenceand non-intelligence factors: teaching is a kind of cognitive process, in whichintelligence and non-intelligence factors are unified, can achieve good teaching effect.This article applying the situational teaching method to college sports educationspecialized basketball teaching experiment research, discusses the feasibility of thisteaching method in physical education in basketball teaching and timeliness. In orderto optimize the modern sports teaching methods, improve the quality of physicaleducation class teaching provides the theory and practice of reference.This article mainly uses the literature material, investigation, teachingexperiment, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other methods, in shandongnormal university two basketball elective classes of grade2011undergraduatestudents as experiment object, and36class hours for a semester teaching experiment,the following conclusions:(1) applying the situational teaching method in collegephysical education professional basketball special course teaching, the teachingcontent in a planned way, targeted into teaching, and can fully arouse the enthusiasmof the participation of each student, and than the traditional teaching method isbeneficial to strengthen students’ physical quality.(2) in terms of mastering basketballtechnology, situational teaching method is better than traditional teaching method ishelpful to improve the level of basketball skills.(3) the concept of situational teachingmethod helps to strengthen students’ physical self.(4) the situational teaching methodin the teaching process can fully play the guiding role of the teacher and the studentmain body function.(5) grasp teaching method is beneficial to teachers according totheir aptitude, and can stimulate the learning initiative and creativity.According to the experimental research to the above conclusion, the situational teaching method in the teaching of physical education in universities to promote usingrelated Suggestions are put forward. However, teaching in the experimental researchresults by experimental time, condition the influence of such factors as theexperimental results are preliminary, related problems remain to be to do furtherresearch.
