Under the background of the global Chinese hot, Korean has increasing passion in learningChinese. Especially in2012, with the development of CPIK (Chinese Program InKorea),Chinese native—spoken teachers have entered all the middle schools and elementaryschools in Korean. Books are the most important teaching tool for Chinese teachers, especiallyfor those teaching in abroad and lacking of teaching materials. Books decide the most basic twoaspects of teaching: what to teach and how to teach. Chinese books for children are a necessarypart of the system of teaching Chinese books. Apart from following the basic principles ofcommon Chinese books like scientificalness、systematicness、practical applicability、pertinenceand interestingness, attention should be paid to the psychological feature and learning patternin Chinese books for kids. A good Chinese books should be the combination of “structure–function-culture”, none of these could be neglected in compiling Chinese books. In thisdissertation we take the two books—Great Children Chinese books and Hello Children Chinesebooks,as example to discuss the problems in compiling children Chinese books.The first part is the introduction, which including two parts: initially, the meaning and aimfor choosing this topic.secondly the research targets and research methods. And in this part, theCPIK will be particular introduced.The second part is the prevue for children Chinese books in korea.The prevalent children Chinese books will be listed and the books which are used by CPIKteacher will also be recommended. And then the particular principles for writing Chinese booksfor Korean children will be probed.The third part is the comparison of the structure and content of the two books. This partcontain the comparison of pronounciation、words、grammar and texts.The forth part is about the comparison of interestingness. Lots of elements will contain inthis part like culture、illustration and songs.
