It has been widely concerned and attended that how to deal with teachers’ professional development issues in the field of education while the new curriculum reform is being further promoted. There is an urgent need to improve their professional level of teachers as the further development of the new curriculum reform while improving the overall quality of teachers also plays a very important role in the steadily promotion of the new curriculum reform. Politics teacher in middle school is primarily responsible for and commitment of ideological and political education for young people. It not only can help to improve teaching effectiveness of Middle School Politics and realize teachers’ self-worth, but also helps to ensure the healthy growth of young people and raise ethical standards. Therefore, it is very important for the implementation of the new curriculum reform, teacher’s growth and improving the quality of students’ moral and politic to research Middle School Politics teacher’s professional development issues.It is explored that how to realize teacher’s own personal growth and development in the perspective of themselves based on the research and analysis of a lot of documents on teacher’s professional development with considering a combination of ideological and political course teacher’s development status in this paper. The research framework includes four parts. The first part is an introduction. It mainly analyzes the proposing and meaning of middle school politics teacher’s professional development issues, research status, research ideas and research methods at home and abroad. The second part analyzes the meaning and necessity of middle school politics teacher’s professional development in three aspects including development of teacher’s career, school’s moral teaching and themselves. The third part analyzes the basic goals of political teacher’s professional development including knowledge structure, moral teaching ability, teacher’s moral and awareness of independent development. The fourth part focuses on the viability strategies to realize teacher’s professional development. This part mainly includes planning a career scientifically, completing knowledge structure, improving teaching skills and being a reflective teacher.
