As an old but lasting method of moral education, moral narration is becoming a hot topic in moral education research. It is a new way to improve actual effect of moral education in school, moreover, it is also a new paradigm of moral educational pattern.This thesis takes exploring the possibility of moral narration as the base, prove theoretically the necessity and feasibility of moral narration to promote children’s moral development. Moral narration can provide a relatively objective point of reference for children, and make up for the shortage of teaching moral principles. At the same time, moral narration accords with children’s narrative thinking, returns to children’s real life and pay attention to the traditional moral culture resources.Therefore, moral narration is necessary and feasible to the development of children’s moral character. According to the different carrier. moral narration is divided into dominant moral narration and recessive moral narration. In the modern context, Moral narration shows some new characteristics:subject’s increasingly diversity, content’s more life-like, and the process gradually to dialogue. By surveying actual performance of moral narration in moral lessons of primary school using field observation and Individual interviews, summarizes the questions such as lack, misuse and heterization when using moral narration in moral lessons,specifically in the following aspects-the subject has become increasingly polarized, the content becomes standardized and the value of "shell". Aiming at the practical problems, analyses the reasons from subjective and objective level, so as to give some practical strategies for using effectively moral narration in moral lessons of primary school. We should use moral narration according to characteristics of children’s moral thinking and moral curriculum. Moreover, we also need pay attention to some key points-choose proper moral story and point of view, highlight the value of listening, encourage moral criticism,and combine organically with other methods of moral education, so as to give full scope to moral narration.According to frame of theory construction, reviewing the practice and combining theory and practice, the study tries to give new introspection and understanding of some questions such as why we need use moral narration in moral lessons in primary school, what it presents in actual and how we should use it properly, looking forword to enriching the theory of moral narrative research, providing a new method for moral education in primary school, and give some practice and operation suggestion on preparation of moral subject’s teaching material in primary school, optimization of classroom teaching mode, improvement of the teacher-student relationship and effectiveness of moral education, and the promotion of students’ development.
