Vocational assessment is a very important part of disabilities employment, it plays a vital role in the career choices for the disabilities. Although we provide a lot of support for the employment of persons with disabilities, and many company expressed their willingness to recruit disabled workers, due to lack of recognize their own ability, they can only find jobs that don’t fit them, as a result, many disabilities can’t maintain their work. The reason is lack of vocational assessment,so disabilities know themselves a little, and not understand the requirements for practitioners of various jobs. In abroad, disabilities will accept vocational assessment before they start vocational training, so they can know their capacity and inadequate, and the vocational training will have a clear target, besides,there are some countries, they assessment disabilities career interests、 hobby even when they start their school. In China disability career and vocational assessment is fall behind, and at the same time the special vocational training institutions lack of staff、facilities and equipment, professional career assessment is difficult to carry out.This sudy take M Center for example, use field investigation、action method, through long-term participate in M center vocational assessment, analyze the achievement and issue of the vocational assessment, and provide advice for vocational assessment for disabilities in China. Though the analyze we find the M center achieve the following results:professional vocational assessment term、comprehensive assessment content、variety of assessment methods、standardized assessment and management、 continued assessment services、individualized support services; The issue of M center vocational assessment:the staff of the vocational assessment are not professional enough、the assessment is not deep enough、lack of assessment tools、old disability concept; M center should:construction high-quality vocational assessment staff、develop vocational assessment tools、improve vocational assessment content、strength cooperation with other agencies; Besides, according to the vocational assessment of M center, made the following recommendations for the development of vocational assessment of people with disabilities in China:change the disability concept、improve the vocational assessment service system、develop vocational education for the disabilities、innovate vocational assessment model、support the supported employment、imporvethe disability services system.
