Purposes:This is a follow-up study bases on the <The characteristics of charm scale of high school teachers> which preliminary compiled by Master Xu Lei who graduated in2009from the Hunan Normal University. The main purpose of this study was to revise and compile the original questionnaire, to improve the validity of the questionnaire and to found high school teachers’charm (others-rating version) regional norm. On the basic of this stand that made it more suitable for our country to measure and estimate the level of high school teachers’ charm.Methods:Referring to a large number of domestic and foreign related researches, the research established a new high teachers’ charm (others-rating version) questionnaire with the expert evaluation method. The object of this study were about2000high school students who come from10high schools in five different regions in Hunan province. And used different statistical methods to inspect the results of the test, such as item analysis、factor analysis and so on.Results:The revised<The high school teachers’charm (others-rating version) questionnaire> included9dimensions and51items. The name of each dimensions were moral personality charm、teaching style charm、professional emotion charm、 knowledge charm、image and manner charm、language charm、 teaching skill charm、teaching attitude charm and professional accomplishment charm. The split-half reliability of the total questionnaire was0.845and the internal consistency reliability coefficient of the total questionnaire was0.920. The study mainly used content validity、empirical validity and structure validity to analyze the validity of the questionnaire. All of the results confirmed that the questionnaire had good validity. According to the result of multi-factor analysis of variance and on the basic of student stand,the researcher respectively established high school teachers’charm (others-rating version) different region regional norm and high school teachers’ charm (others-rating version) different gender、grade、region regional norm.Conclusion:Based on the previous studies, this study improved theoretical model of<The high school teachers’charm (others-rating version) questionnaire) had a good structure and proved that the structure of the questionnaire is more reasonable through the results of confirmatory factor analysis. The various statistical results showed that the results of this revised<The high school teachers’ charm (others-rating version) questionnaire of> ran up to the standard of measurement. It was suitable for popularization and application. According to the result of multi-factor variance analysis, the researcher respectively established two high school teachers’ charm (others-rating version) regional norm. It can provide a reliable reference for the measure of the high school teachers’ charm.
