China has entered the eighth curriculum reform of the21century, which is a profound change in the field of education. Under the guidance of the new high school geography curriculum standards under the new curriculum, the national high school geography appeared boom teaching reform. To meet the needs of the new era, high school geography teaching must actively get rid of the shackles of the traditional teaching of geography and explore new teaching modes. This article uses methods such as literature review, observation, experiment, case studies, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to explore a suitable method for China’s high school geography teaching.The preface of the article introduces the basic content, status and problems of the three mainland Chinese geography teaching mode using literature review.The second part talks about the study of the theoretical basis of the article using literature survey, including the basic theories like the new high school geography curriculum reform and the "three main bodies five steps" teaching mode’s concept-view of children, teachers, teaching, evaluation and moral education.The third part uses methods of observation and experiment to explore how to use the "three main bodies five steps" in high school geography teaching. The fourth part uses two case studies to explain the application of "three main bodies five steps". The fifth part using the case study method, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to build geography teaching evaluation mechanisms of "three main bodies five steps" and studies the fact-finding survey of students under the "three main bodies five steps" geography teaching to propose recommendations to improve the "three main bodies five steps" teaching mode.This article finally makes the following conclusions:"Three main bodies five steps" teaching mode is an interactive mode which fully reflects the view of "teacher’s leading role and student’s main role. It focuses on not only teaching disciplinary system knowledge, but also concerning about the growth of the students."Three main bodies five steps" teaching mode is suitable for high school geography teaching making the traditional geography teaching to shine new vitality."Three main bodies five steps" teaching mode is conducive to master disciplinary system knowledge and develop geography thinking skills.This paper presents the following improvements:Deepen the understanding of "three main five steps". According to actual conditions to implement the "three main bodies five steps". Having a long-term vision view of the effect of the "three main bodies five steps".
