In recent years, government provides strong supports on the development of secondary vocational school and treats it as a high priority agenda in the educational affairs, these supports can be either financially or politically. Culture basic course has been regard as an important part in the education of secondary vocational school, but the music course has no attention. General course of music is not only an important path for shaping students’aethestic standards, but also an efficient way for improving the students’moral, psychological and cultural quality education. As a music teacher at secondary vocational school, I deeply realize that reform on traditional vocational school general music teaching is inevitable for developing music general course of music teaching in secondary vocational schools development.This paper is proposed to study the school music course in secondary vocational school, based on synergetic theory.Collaborative teaching is guided by systematic theory and synergetic theory, it is fully performing other factors of teaching process, and general music teaching collaborates with sister subjects, professional subjects. The educational outcome of general course of music in secondary vocational school could be improved significantly by collaborating among music teachers, professional teacher and students.The purpose of this paper is to match the general course of music in secondary vocational school with the features of secondary vocational school and the learning features of students at secondary vocational school, implementing team teaching in teaching General course of music and fully reflecting the employability and instrumental capability of secondary vocational school, this does not only boost the passion of teacher in the process of teaching, also help to clarify the aim of teaching General course of music and standardized the whole teaching process, more importantly it provides practical knowledge and techniques for future employment of students.This paper used data studies, research methods, data analysis, interviews.Overlooking the current teaching practices and theoretical analysis on general course of music in secondary vocational school, team teaching is in a really early stage in the implementation and theoretical analysis of general course of music in secondary vocational school. This paper is trying to systematically describe and analysis the application of team teaching in general course of music in secondary vocational school, and providing some practical advices based on my analysis.This paper is organized by five sections. The first section: raising questions, describing the subject background and study meaning, contrasting the domestic current studies with international ones and summarized some guidelines from helpful publications and papers for this subject. The second section: survey and analysis, I have surveyed on current teaching information on general course of music over five secondary vocational schools in Yueyang City and did some analysis based on the results of survey, and find out the corresponding reasons. The third section:describing the theoretical foundation of team teaching and its feasibility. Briefly introducing coordination theory and cooperative teaching theory, and analyzing the feasibility of team teaching in general music courses in secondary vocational school from the characteristics of general course of music and the secondary vocational education. The forth section:the practical analysis of team teaching in general course of music in secondary vocational school, it is mainly studied by two aspects, the first aspect:the requirements for teacher in order to have team teaching in general course of music in secondary vocational school, the second aspect:the specified methods and measures in general course of music in secondary vocational school team teaching. The fifth section: conclusion.
