| Since2001, China has started a new round of curriculum reform of elementary education, as the reform deepens, the music education in primary school continuously adds some new teaching ideas, adjusts the structure of the curriculum, updates teaching methods, intensifies the building of elementary school music teachers’ qualities under the guidance of the Full-time Compulsory Education Music Course Standard (Experimental Draft). This paper will set the reform of elementary education as the starting point, do some follow-up research on ten primary schools in Injun County, Changchun City. It will cover the implementation of the new primary and secondary school music curriculum standard,the local music teacher’s understanding and mastering of the new curriculum reform, the way of evaluating students’performance, the participation in some training and researching projects, the practices of some music-related activities, interview some of the principals of the ten primary schools about the implementation of the new curriculum. Through all these real reflections of the10primary school in Changchun City, the writer presents the current situation of the music education in local primary schools, and he want to give some references on music course reform in primary school for the further development. |
