The new curriculum reform requires schools to train high-quality, complexpeople, the demanding of teaching ability of teachers are also needed increasingly.Teaching reflection is one of the important ways for teachers and professionaldevelopment, It plays a very important role in promoting the development ofstudents and teachers’ teaching ability. The novice teachers who just entering theworkplace has a process to adapt to the teaching environment and change to thenovice teachers, teaching reflection can effectively shorten the process. The aim ofthis study is based on the study of teaching reflection actualities of NoviceChemistry teachers,,provide a reference point to optimize the novice teachersteaching reflection support system, and to promote the growth of novice teachers.This paper examines the status of domestic and foreign research on reflectiveteaching, use comprehensive method of literature, questionnaire, interview, takequestionnaire and interview outline as the main research tool, classify the novicechemistry teachers of high schools in Hebei Province as the survey object. Themain content of the questionnaire are: the new type of high school chemistryteachers’ understanding of teaching reflection, the content of the present situation ofteaching reflection and teaching reflection and teaching reflection type, thedimension of the process of teaching reflection and teaching reflection, the influencefactors of teaching reflection, and so on.The Study found that:(1) most of the new high school chemistry teachersunderstand teaching reflection is insufficient.(2) although most schools requireteachers to carry on the teaching reflection, most of their teaching reflectionfrequency is low, and the reflection method is relatively single.(3) the content of thenew high school chemistry teachers’ teaching reflection is "narrow", it mainly focuson the teaching content, teaching skills, classroom organization and management, etc.(4) new high school chemistry teachers’ teaching reflection occurs mainly before andafter class, seldom in the class.(5) new high school chemistry teachers in the teaching is not very good at discovering problems, and reflection on content cannotbe well applied to practice.(6) new high school chemistry teachers’ teachingreflection dimensions have diffrence.(7) their reflection affect by both themselvesand the schools.(8) their reflection level is low, and most of them is technicalreflection.On the basis of analysis and discussion of the survey results, we bring uprecommendations and strategies to promote the new high school chemistry teachers’teaching reflection from teachers, schools and education department three aspects.
