"Dialogue teaching" in China was proposed in the late1990s. It appeared to be a new form of teaching accompanied by the new round of basic education curriculum reform."Dialogue teaching" was initially considered as a teaching method, a teaching principle and a teaching philosophy. But gradually, it developed into a teaching practice which melts teaching methods, knowledge, ideas and philosophy of teaching in one and is endowed with creativity and criticism. In fact, it differs greatly from the cramming method of teaching in high school politics education classes in our country. The single indoctrination teaching methods has had huge impacts on the teaching efficiency of the high school politics courses which is because such methods result in many problems as students’paying much attention to receiving the knowledge but ignoring thinking, attaching importance to the knowledge but despising emotions, the alienation between the teachers and the students, and the disparity between the teaching and the real life, and so on and so forth. Hence, the research of the application of "dialogue teaching" in the high school ideological and politics teaching classeswill undoubtedly have powerful practical significance for reforming and creating the mode of the politics courses and improving its timeliness.This paper, applying the concept of "dialogue teaching", proposes some specific countermeasures and methods cutting from the dilemma of the indoctrination teaching. The thesis is divided into four parts:The first part summarizes the connotation, the characteristics and the theoretical origin of "dialogue teaching" by combing the thoughts and theories from the ancient times to the present and at home and abroad and thus laying a solid theoretical foundation for applying "dialogue teaching" to high school politics courses.The second part analyzes the necessity of dialogue teaching" in high school politics classes from the plight the ideological and political indoctrination teaching methods has brought to the teaching of politics in high school combining the development of the times and the new curriculum standards for high school political classes.The third part proposessome teaching measures of implementing "dialogue teaching" to high school politics classes from the angles of updating teaching philosophy, creating communication space, rebuilding teacher-student relationship and improving teachers’dialogue qualities.The fourth part probes into the specific forms of "dialogue teaching" and explains how to apply "dialogue teaching" concept to high school politics teaching.
