The spoken language is the most important and commonly used mean of communication. Itis the need for living and development. It’s the important cornerstone of vocational development.Due to many kinds of reasons, the teaching effect of oral communication in secondary vocationalChinese is not ideal. There is a big gap between the oral communication skills of secondaryvocational school students and the requirement of cultivating high quality workers.This research begins with the analysis of the problems. It is believed that there are someproblems in the oral communication teaching of secondary vocational Chinese such as unspecificteaching standards, insufficient teaching resources, not enough attention, teachers withoutprofessional training, casual teaching etc. It’s in the condition that the teacher doesn’t liketeaching, the student doesn’t like learning and the teaching effect is poor. On those bases, afour-level teaching goal of oral communication is compiled, relying on the related theories onlanguage communication of linguistics, psychology and sociology, through analyzing andhackling the contents and problems in present teaching program and National planning teachingmaterials. Follow the principles of conformity, practice and openness, seven kinds ofstudent-centered teaching projects are designed, which advocate the method of putting stress onspecific training while daily teaching influence as a supplement to implement the oralcommunication teaching goal and the corresponding teaching project one by one. It’s believedthat teaching evaluation is the cornerstone to promote implementing oral communicationteaching. Gradually realization of the separation of teaching and testing is the key to thereformation of evaluation models. A set of evaluation scheme is put forward with specificinstructions of its significance, principle, dimensions and main body.It discusses how to establish the support system of oral communication teaching from therequirements of time, space and policy, building of supporting resources, demands on the qualityof teachers and so on, reflects on the teaching achievement, difficulties, promotion andapplication of teaching experiments. It is believed that although oral communication teachingfaces many obstacles at present, it is worth unremitting efforts of every secondary schoolChinese teacher.
