Oral communication skill has become one of the essential qualifications for the present or future society personnel, and it is also not exceptional for secondary vocational students. However there have been quite a number of problems in the oral communication teaching of the Chinese language, and the teaching effects are not so satisfactory.A survey shows that there are four problems in oral communication teaching of the Chinese language in secondary vocational schools: backward teaching concepts lead to a phenomena that a teacher can not correctly deal with the oral communicative teaching; the lack of effective teaching principles leads to a teacher with no teaching guide; teaching contents ambiguity in the oral communication system led to a uncertainty of the teaching contents and a lack of Coherence and systematic; the teaching process can not reflect the training law of oral communication ability. The fundamental reason is that teaching Chinese language oral communication has just started in secondary vocational schools, and its relevant theory is extremely scarce.In order to solve the above problems, this paper makes a systematic study of the oral communicative language teaching concepts, teaching principles, teaching content and teaching process, and initially constructs the secondary vocational schools language teaching theory of oral communication.The paper also clearly specifies that communication is a core of teaching oral communication; it proposes also four principles which are: a combination of situational and openness; a combination of subjectivity and interaction; a combination of tacit and emotional, as well as a combination of basic and vocational education.
