Teaching Software For CNC Programming Assistant

"CNC programming and operation" course, that’s a basic course of CNC technology specialty in our Jining teachers college. The students must finish several kind of numerical control system. During the study process, we can meet many kind of problems, like few learning time, abstract Course content, that’s lead to a bad teaching effect; traditional teaching mode, that’s a uninteresting, not attractive and with few reference material. Establishing a network learning platform, this is a meaningful subject to support our course teaching.This paper introduces the research background and the software’s technical environment. According to the characteristics of the system, it uses the B/S structure in the software, ASP and HTML language environment to design combining static webpage, and ACCESS2003as the database dynamic pages. This paper focuses on the realization process of the software, carried out a detailed analysis and description on each link, like requirement analysis, system design, database design, the detailed design and implementation and so on.The software design focuses on the course content and auxiliary teaching. Course content module includes course construction module, basic knowledge of CNC, basic knowledge of program making, basic knowledge of instruction, cycle details and so on. Auxiliary teaching module includes auxiliary knowledge of CNC programming module, design and practice module and Interactive learning platform module.The software platform can provide with the combination of static and dynamic webpage for teachers and students, to realization various learning content displaying, facilitates to browse and query, support a fine channel on network for students and teachers to interchange. Ready for extended learning students, hobby CNC machining technology, they can adopt project teaching form, according to the part design book, according to design to make a reasonable program. Then interacting with teacher, students can finish their home.
