With the advancement and integration of informatization and industrialization,robot technology has become one of the important indicators to measure the ability of scientific and technological innovation,and has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.Robot education had set off a wave of learning upsurge as its modules such as "Robot Design and Manufacture" and "Open Source Hardware Project Design" being included in the compulsory curriculum of General High School Curriculum Program and Course Standards for Chinese and Other Disciplines(2017 Edition)by the Ministry of Education in 2018.However,in the specific practice process,due to the excessive use of traditional teaching methods and the lack of lively and interesting teaching projects,students' learning interest and participation are not high enough.In this study,based on micro: bit,an open source hardware platform,combining the learning characteristics of primary school students,integrating STEAM education concept and interesting interactive teaching mode,a number of interactive robot teaching projects for primary school students have been designed and developed,and some good teaching results in practice have been achieved.The purpose of this paper is to stimulate students' interest and confidence by increasing the extensibility and interaction of robotic teaching resources.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The research status of robot education and micro:bit at home and abroad is analyzed and elaborated,and the research direction is determined.The concepts of robots,educational robots and robot education,interactive robots,etc.are clarified.The micro:bit and its characteristics are introduced.Then it summarizes STEAM education,project-based teaching method,interesting interactive teaching mode and constructivist learning theory,which lays a theoretical foundation for this paper's study.(2)On the basis of fully considering the psychological and thinking characteristics of primary school students,guided by the recommendations of Basic Education Information Technology Curriculum Standard(2012 edition)for the moduleof "Introduction to Robots",and centering on six principles of education,science,interest,novelty,practicability and STEAM education,the objectives and contents of interactive robot teaching project for primary students are determined.(3)Based on the interesting interactive teaching mode and the stronger connection with science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics,an interactive robot teaching model integrating STEAM education concept is designed.(4)Twelve vivid and interesting teaching projects including "Simple MP3 Player","Intelligent Nightlight" and "Simple Radio Telegraph" were designed and developed,and applied to the teaching practice of a robot education center in Yudong,Banan District,Chongqing.Finally,in view of the use effect of the designed teaching project,a questionnaire survey was conducted among the students and an interview was conducted with the teachers.Questionnaire survey and interview results show the application value of the micro: bit interactive robot teaching project designed for primary school students in this paper.Because of its elementary,this research is going to provide a reference for more design and development of micro:bit and interactive robot teaching projects.
