Research on the incentive mode of knowledge staff in New Oriental Education&Technology Group。With the coming of global reform and continuous innovationon knowledge and technology, the enterprises in China are facing a lasting reformand a rapid development. Thus, the development of the enterprises will rely on theknowledge innovation more heavily. As the first educational and training institutionof China appears in NYSE, New Oriental Education&Technology Group are incharge of a large number of knowledge staff, and how to motivate these knowledgestaff is becoming a significant goal in the administration.Knowledge staff is the most valuable asset in enterprises due to theirwell-educated background as well as the core skill and techniques. The promotion ofthe enterprises’ value and competence depends heavily on how much the knowledgestaff make their intelligence and knowledge into the realistic productivity.Where there is an enterprise with lots of knowledge staff, there is a new humanresource problem. That is how to make a suitable incentive construction based on thefeatures of knowledge staff in personnel management.In most enterprises in China, there is not a visible, easy, and feasible criterion tojudge the knowledge staff’s working fruit. So, numbers of knowledge staff are hardto give the full measure of devotion or prefer to choose a new job because ofpersonal reasons, social circumstance and enterprises’ atmosphere. This phenomenonwill harm the development of the enterprise undoubtedly. As a consequence, theconstructions of an incentive mechanism aiming at knowledge staff will play a vitalrole in motivating the enthusiasm, promoting the efficiency and stability, and guaranteeing the existing and development of enterprises.The discussion and research on the incentive mechanism in New Oriental, isaiming at the existing strengths and weakness by analyzing the current managementof knowledge staff. For one thing, we are able to magnify the managerial strengths,for another, more importantly, we hope we can perfect the managerial mechanism byamending the shortcoming in incentive mechanism, and explore the potential of theknowledge staff more deeply to make them more positive in the development ofNew Oriental. At the same time, the case of New Oriental can be a good sample andcase to the other related enterprises in perfecting the incentive mechanism ofknowledge and improving the managerial circumstance.The issue is based on the theory of human resource management and combinedthe theory of strategy management mastered during the study of MBA. It iscompleted by the combination of theory analysis and practical demonstration, aswell as quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.Based on the current situation of knowledge staff, in the issue, we analyze thedeveloping problems of incentive mechanism in New Oriental nowadays, andcombined the internal and external surroundings, also find the solutions to tackle thathow to incent the knowledge staff.
