Application Of Innovation Thinking Graduate Coaching Culture

In recent times, the demand of innovative talents is increasingly urgent according to social development. Innovative thinking is the key essence and core sector of innovation, which is also the foundation and prerequisite of innovation. Theory and practice has both proved that innovative thinking can be improved through training and specific process in special circumstances. As a group of academic research personnel in higher education program, postgraduate students should be paid more attention to develop their innovative thinking.Coaching skills works through mental models improvement, to inspire the potential of coachees, develop their thinking, improve their working efficiency, and ultimately solve the problems. Coaching skills has been developed for over30years, it has been located as the most revolutionary modern management methods, and has been praised highly in a great number of Fortune500companies. Taking use of coaching skills into teaching is aimed to guide students to learn inward to explore more deeply, find outward to explore more possible, thus improving the ability of the coaches’innovative thinking.This research is intended to explore the application of coaching skills to train the innovative thinking ability of postgraduate students. Firstly, the theoretical basis of coaching skills and innovative thinking come to lay the foundation of the research, and to design the appropriate questionnaire. Then, the research verified the low level of innovative thinking ability of the group of postgraduate students, and summarizes the innovative thinking loopholes through empirical investigation and analysis. Ultimately, I proposed some appropriate idea towards coaching course and detailed appropriate coaching tools and applications. I hope this research can contribute to innovative thinking training for postgraduate students and expand the application of coaching skills application.
