In the information age people put forward new requirements to teacher’s professional knowledge and ability, teachers must possess ability to carry out the teaching in the information technology environment. As one of the common course the normal students required,"modern education technology" bear the responsibility of cultivating students’ informational teaching ability.Guided by the TPACK framework, this paper analyzes the informational teaching ability the teachers should possess in the information age, then studies and discusses the "modern education technology" course design for sports students. After analyzing the three factors of TPACK framework, the author designs a informational teaching ability training plan for the sports students, and the content of "modern education technology" course is divided into five thematic learning:the basic theory, the technology of resources integration,the TPK, the TCK and the TPCK. Considering of the characteristics of sports discipline and the sports students, the author selects the teaching content which is closely linking with sports discipline, and avariety kind of teaching methods such as problem-based methods,case method and task-driven teaching method are applied to mobilizesports students’ learning motivation. To verify whether this trainingscheme can effectively improve sports informational teachingabilities for sports students, the author takes a teaching experimentfor a semester in sports education professional of01and02class in anormal sports college,which are set as the experiment and contrastclass. In the later period, the author designs a questionnaire to checkthe two classes’ ability promotion, then gathers the data after theexperiment. In the end the author analyze the students’ tasks inordinary times, the terminal grade and the inquiry questionnaire usingthe SPSS software to check if the two classes have clear difference inthe informational teaching ability.The results of the experiment show that the "modern educationtechnology" courses design scheme under the TPACK framework cantransform the traditional teaching and play a good role in improvingsports students’ information teaching ability.
