The policy of free education for Normal Students in our country was promulgated and implemented in May,2007, the follow-up and implementation of this policy marks the further deeply reform of China’s school physical education. Free normal physical education is the main force of the future of physical teacher, their physical education skills level is directly affects the overall physical education quality. At the same time, With the implementation of new curriculum reform, the physical education curriculum reform is deepening, puts forward higher requirements for teachers teaching skills. As one of the experiment normal university that under the ministry of education to provide free education to education students, the way of developing the sports education specialized students’ teaching skills of Central China normal university.are still in the pilot phase, needs further exploration and research.This thesis is based on documentations research, Questionnaire survey method and Mathematical statistics method etc to investigate sports teaching skill of normal students in China Normal University. First, investigate the current situation of sports teaching skills of normal students of China Normal University, Secondly, explore the problem that existing in physical teaching skills as well as the causes that affects teaching skill to improve. Finally put forward the strategy to improve the teaching skills, in order to promote the training modes and teaching for China normal University can be better for development and promote the normal students to improve their physical teaching quality.1. Through investigate the satisfaction on teaching skills found that free normal students generally on their physical education skills are optimistic, the vast majority of free normal students are satisfactory with their own physical teaching skills.2.Through investigate the cognition about physical education skills found that freee normal students have cognitive bias to physical education skills. this cognitive condition is bound to affect the normal students comprehensive cognition of sports teaching skills, thus affecting their teaching skill.3.Through investigate master physical education skills of free normal students found that they master well in Mandarin and teaching manners. While the layout of chalk writing is poor, writing under neat, teaching design is hard to grasp the main line, thus making the teaching skills of normal students exited short board.4. Through investigate master classroom teaching skills of free normal students found that they master well in demonstration skills, presentation skills, while the form into the classroom was single, the teaching organization skills exist certain problems. Finish the class was superficial, directly affects the lever of physical education skills of free normal students.5. Through investigate satisfaction of teaching skills activities that school carried out, found the overall is more satisfied. Among them, the highest is physical education teaching practice, The second is for teaching basic skills teaching, the last is for the teaching skill training courses.Based on the above conclusion, the suggestion to improve physical education skills should from free student individual aspect and school aspects. On the individual level, include normal students improve themselves development cognize, enhance the ability to combines theory with practice. And the school should raise awareness to cultivate free normal students’ physical education skills, Main include updating and increasing diversity courses content; improving teaching practice, strengthen the students and the school of communication and exchange; open extracurricular activity to build second classroom; reform the training form and abundant training method.
