Comprehensive inquiry module is included in each unit of ideological and political textbook in high school, which is a major highlight of new curriculum reform, and a difficulty in ideological and political teaching as well. It is necessary to research the problems of comprehensive inquiry of high school ideological and political textbooks. As a new form of curriculum, Its development is very important to carry out the reform spirit, expand the achievements and influence of the new curriculum reform, transform the teacher’s idea of new concept and the development of students.This article is based on comprehensive inquiry of ideological and political textbooks, the thesis researches the teaching of comprehensive inquiry from four parts.The first part is about its meaning and significance. This part concludes its characteristic, then analyzes the teaching’s significance.The second part analyzes the problems existing in the teaching process of comprehensive inquiry. It mainly includes that modern teaching methods and traditional teaching methods can not combine effectively, the teaching time can not be guaranteed, the form of teaching is single, the curriculum resources’ use is not reasonable, teachers and students play the improper role and so on.The third part analyzes the causes of these problems. This part mainly analyzes them from the teaching environment, teachers’ teaching concept, students’ knowledge and ability, the reform of the political course evaluation system.The fourth part puts forward measures to solve the problems, it includes that improve the teaching environment, change teachers’ teaching concept, enhance teachers’ professionalism, improve student’s learning behavior, use the developmental and diversified evaluation.
