Satisfaction Survey Of Postgraduates About Higher Education Services

With the popularization of higher education, the problem of higher education quality gradually replaced of the question of the number of higher education has become a focus. Postgraduate education in China is the main channel to train the high-level innovative talents, and belongs to the highest stage of higher education. Universities as the main unit of cultivate postgraduates, it’s education service is closely related to the quality of the postgraduate education. Taking students as the foundation,keeping a close eye on the expectation and perception of education service of postgraduates and improving postgraduate students’ satisfaction, is the way to development more advanced talents for the society.The dissertation combines the theoretic and empirical methods to discuss the satisfaction of higher education on the view of postgraduate. To the theoretic research, the dissertation based on the theory of customer satisfaction and the view of higher education service;considers postgraduates as the subject and the main evaluation body of high education service; postgraduates’satisfaction is very important to improve the quality of higher education service. In the empirical research, using the modified SERQUAL instrument to measure the postgraduates’satisfaction of the four universities in Hunan province. The result of the survey were analyzed by SPSS17.0and EXCEL, and indicates that the postgraduates are dissatisfaction to the service quality of higher education at large, personal background factors such as gender, the institution type of the universities they were studied in and the major they chose are influenced on their satisfaction According to the survey date, taking precedence matrix to analyze the advantages and weak of higher education service, which provided evidence for the improvement of higher education service.According to the research result, the dissertation considers that the government should create a good institutional surrounding to the improvement of higher education service to ensure the normal development of postgraduates satisfaction; the universities should strengthen the emphasis on higher education service and postgraduate satisfaction, use the postgraduate satisfaction as the basis for the improvement of higher education service; the postgraduates should enhance their self-quality and set up the correct consumption motive, to be qualified consumers and valuator of higher education service under the guidance of the university.
