The transformation of students with learning difficulties (SLD) has always been paid much attention by the educators and psychologists. On the back ground of educational fairness, SLD as the disadvantaged group have attracted more attention. However, many teachers have taken great efforts in transforming SLD but little has been gained because they favor the manner of "heter-organization". If SLD are not organized, they can achieve little, either. The transformation of SLD must obey the law of "self-organization". With the transformation of SLD, not only can they perform well in the test, but they also love learning and know how to learn driven by inner motivation. Some self-organization characteristics will appear, such as autopoiesis, self-adaptation, self-replication and self-evolution. This paper attempts to use Self-organization Theory to study the law of the transformation of SLD.Self-organization Theory is a group of theories, mainly including Dissipative Structure Theory, Synergetic Theory and Mutation Theory. This paper uses Self-organization Theory to analyze the conditions, the dynamic mechanism and the evolution path of the transformation of SLD. According to the Dissipative Structure Theory, the system of SLD must meet the following four conditions to form a self-organization structure (i.e. the dissipative structure). Firstly, SLD must be open to communicate with the outside world. Secondly, the cognitive structure and emotional state of SLD must be far away from balance. Thirdly, nonlinear interactions must be used to promote the transformation of SLD. Fourthly, the change of SLD needs to be pushed by fluctuation. According to Synergetic Theory, the dynamic mechanism of the transformation of SLD comes from competition and cooperation, and the formation of the sense of self-efficacy indicates the formation of order para-meter. According to the Mutation Theory, we can see the evolution path of the transformation of SLD. the Proximate Development Zone can be an attractor that leads to the change of SLD. It will be a long time before SLD’s change from quantitative change. Singularities are the best opportunities for the teacher to transform SLD. The final transformation of SLD depends on the joint force which comes from some giant fluctuations.
