Modern educational research indicates that, classroom teaching is a very complicated system, which consists of variety of factors and aspects, as well as diverse links and is influenced by many factors. Inquiry teaching has the nature of inquiry, besides common ones of teaching. So it reinforces the Complexity of teaching. Based on the reasons, to probe into the nature of inquiry teaching, the research and practice on inquiry teaching of chemistry should be under instruction of the dissipative structure theory, which makes it significant in the new situations of quality education.This paper illustrates the features and complexity of inquiry teaching of classroom teaching in Senior High school under the dissipative structure theory. Second, it researches its teaching strategies and attempt to the inquiry teaching model in accordance with the dissipative structure theory. Finally, it probes into how to put the theory into the main channel-classroom teaching to promote all-round development of students.
